Meet the Author
Alexander Hamilton-Brown
Alexander was born and brought up in the shadow of Stirling Castle, in Scotland. His abiding love of history and cinema led him to America. There, he graduated from New York University’s School of Film and Television. Thirty-five years later, he had garnered twenty-five international film awards, many of which were for his historical specials for the British, Canadian, and American television networks. Aside from his film and television productions, he has published many award-winning short stories and several books of poetry. He lives in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada. The Maverick King is his first novel, a vivid blend of historical accuracy and creative vision. With this debut, he brings his lifelong love of history full circle, transforming the past into a powerful, living narrative.
